I was taking a break over Christmas from wedding planning (not wedding talk...that would be impossible). Family I haven't seen in four years came in and we spent some time together. It was a good Christmas but a little tiring. Between wedding planning and the holiday I haven't stop much. I'm an obsessive planner and enjoy making plans within plans. Whether or not that's a healthy type to be planning a wedding has yet to be seen.
New years I have no plans but rest and recuperate. (Maybe...😉)
However.....The hunt has already started back for a venue.
It's crazy how when you are so focus on one thing you can easily forget to take a step back and look back at what you HAVE accomplished. I found my bridesmaids dresses. They are called Infinity Dresses. Check them out! Touch based with other people that have planned and/or had weddings and are offering to let me use their dishes, boxes, linens, etc.
People in this community really want to try and have your back. While I have had some that have been negative the many positives have out weighed them. Too anyone planning your own wedding reach out to people, introduce yourself, share your plans, frustration, and hopes. Their might be someone that has gone through something similar or is going through their own thing. Be the shoulder and other people will offer theirs.
